Triple-A says a gallon of gas will set you back four-dollars-40 cents on average in the Land of Lincoln. That’s up 24 cents in the past week. Locally, gas in the Kankakee area is down a penny today to four-dollars-25 cents. Triple-A says gas is averaging 4.20 in Iroquois County, 4.27 in Ford County and 4.26 in Grundy County.
The average cost for a gallon of gas in Newton County Indiana is four-dollars-10 cents. It’s 4.34 in Benton County and 4.58 in Jasper County. The average cost for a gallon of regular no-lead gas is averaging four-dollars-19 cents in the Hoosier State.
