Illinois State Police report another arrest in connection with the shooting late last year that took the life of one Bradley Police officer and severely wounded another. In a press release, the State Police says troopers arrested 22-year-old Xavier Harris of Bradley last Wednesday for obstructing justice and concealing or aiding a fugitive. Kankakee County State’s Attorney Jim Rowe says Harris is the seventh person arrested in connection with the shooting that took the life of Sergeant Marlene Rittmanic and seriously wounded Officer Tyler Bailey. Harris is being held in the Jerome Combs Detention Center on 75-thousand-dollars bond.
