Some 50 Kankakee kids whose dads are longer in the picture took part in today’s first ever “A Day with Dad’s” at The King Upper Grade Center.  Eric Peterson of Project HeadSpace and Timing, spearheaded the event and said it was a good time.

Some 50 dads took part.  The event was in partnership with Gloria Kennedy of Dwane Dean and the Kankakee County State’s Attorney’s office.  There will be a second Day with Dad’s at a later date.  Peterson says it’s an effort to bring down the level of violence in Kankakee.
