Back to Prison for a Diamond Man

A Diamond, Illinois man, out on parole, will most likely be heading back to prison to finish his 12 year sentence after being arrested on drug and weapons charges.  Police say a parole compliance check was made on 35 year old Cory Mixan’s home in the 100 block of Sportsman Drive in Diamond last Friday.   Inside police say they found fentanyl, heroin, cocaine and one stolen firearm and ammunition.  Mixon was released on parole after serving 5 years of his 12 year sentence.
