KAMEG makes drug arrest

Kankakee Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group Agents, with the help of State Police and Bradley Police report the arrest of a 36-year-old Kankakee man on drug charges. According to reports, Antonio J. Paige was arrested Friday following a search warrant at a home in the 11-hundred block of East Merchant Street in Kankakee. Reports say that search turned up a loaded handgun, some 54 grams of suspected crack cocaine, about 17 grams of cocaine, some meth and drug paraphernalia. Paige was initially charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver within 500 feet of a park along with various firearms violations.
