After several decades, there’ll be a Christmas Parade in the City of Kankakee this year. 4th Ward Alderman Lance Marczak is heading up the city’s efforts and he says there’s still plenty of space if you’d like to enter a float in the parade
Marczak says the plan is for the parade to start in the parking lot across from Paramount Theatre, and will travel Schuyler to River, west to East Avenue will end at the Depot parking lot. Marczak adds they’re still looking for a parade sponsor to a be able to award prizes to float entries
The Parade is coming up December 10th, with line-up at three and the parade steps off at four. If you’d like to enter a float or just find out more, you can search “parade” on the City’s website or you can give Alderman Marczak a call.
