Another Boil Order for Hoopeston

For the second time in the last couple of weeks the City of Hoopeston has issued a boil order. Affected areas include West Main to West Thompson and North 6th avenue to North Dixie Highway.  The west side of North Dixie Highway is not included in the order that will be in effect until further notice.  You’re urged to boil all drinking and cooking water for five minutes before consuming. The Hoopeston Water Department says a broken water main prompted the order.
