To Employees Stabbed at Pontiac Correctional Center

The Illinois Department of Corrections says two employees at the Pontiac Correctional center were stabbed by an inmate last week. The prisoner allegedly used a homemade weapon.  It happened last Wednesday.  A correctional officer was treated and released but a corrections sergeant had to be flown to a hospital in Peoria for treatment.
