Harris Requests Delay in Her Murder Trial

Accused cop killer Xandria Harris was back in court Monday to file a motion to delay her scheduled February 6th trial date.  the 27 year old Harris along with her boyfriend, 26 y ear old Darius Sullivan of Bourbonnais are charged with first degree murder the shooting death last December of Bradley Police SGt. Marlene Rittmanic and the wounding of officer Tyler Bailey at a Bradley hotel  The Daily Journal reports her attorney told the court they need more time to find expert witness testimony to present what’s known as an affirmative defense that can include self defense, entrapment insanity and necessity.
