Warrant Sweep Nets 8 in Kankakee County

KAMEG agents with the help of the United States Marshal Service, Kankakee Police Department and Kankakee County Sheriff’s police conducted a warrant sweep in Kankakee County Thursday.  8 people were taken into custody, most on drug warrants.   But when police arrived at the home of 29 year old Donald D. Sherrod Jr. of Kankakee, a search warrant turned up two loaded handguns, and an unspecified amount of cannabis.   He’s facing multiple drug and weapons charges.   56 year old Joseph M. Krischokas of Kankakee was arrested after a search warrant executed at his home allegedly turned up an unspecified amount of Methamphetamine.
