Convicted 70 year old Catholic Priest, Richard Jacklin, was sentenced today in Kankakee County Court to 18 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections following his conviction for the 2017 sexually assault of a 39 male resident of Shapiro Developmental Center who suffers from a disability and has the IQ of a 6 year old. Jacklin was formerly at Sacred Heart in Goodrich and was an assistant at St. Rose Of Lima in Kankakee for a time.
