River Valley Metro’s Kankakee transfer station is now open. Metro Chief Operating Officer Ken Munjoy says the facility is the culmination of years of planning and work.
Munjoy says the transfer station is on Chestnut in Kankakee, between Schuyler and Dearborn and incorporates elements from the City of Kankakee’s streetscape plan.
