Party bus overturned on I-65 south of Lowell

A party bus overturned Thursday morning on I-65 about three miles south of Lowell and a mile north of the Kankakee River.  Indiana State Police say the 2006 Blue Bird Bus was northbound when the driver failed to see slowing traffic and drove on the shoulder where he lost control and struck a semi and a guardrail before the bus rolled over.  Nobody on the bus was injured.  The scene wasn’t cleaned up and the expressway completely reopened until noon.
