Indiana Woman Seeks Hitman to Kill Ex

A Rensselaer, Indiana woman has been arrested  after police say she was actively searching for someone to kill her former boyfriend.  Rensselaer police say they received information that 24 year old Paige Austin was looking for someone to, quote, “do a hit” on her ex and set up a sting.  An officer posing as a hit-man contacted Austin who was arrested when she arrived at the designated meeting place.  According to police Austin agreed to make a down payment for the hit in the form of methamphetamine.  Austin is charging multiple charges including conspiracy to commit murder. The boyfriend is now living with a new girlfriend and her children.
