Not Easy to Run While Cuffed

A Wilmington man found out Sunday morning that it’s apparently not easy to run away while handcuffed.  Joliet police were called to a report of a man slumped over the wheel of his car asleep.  A search of 27 year old Devin Goodwin turned up an unspecified amount of methamphetamine in his pants pockets.  As officers were escorting Goodwin to a squad car he allegedly ran.  Good win did not get too far, police say he quickly tripped and fell and because he was cuffed was unable to get up before being captured.
