Kankakee County Schools get back to session this week and next. Kankakee County Sheriff Mike Downey reminds area drivers to be aware of added traffic and buses on area roadways
Downey adds drivers need to keep an eye out for kids that might dart into traffic while waiting at a bus stop. He reminds drivers there will be several new drivers on area roadways as well
Downey reminds area drivers that school buses are equipped with cameras to record those violating stop arm laws, so if you disobey the sign you can expect a visit from local law enforcement.
