Stolen Cars Leads to Arrest in Benton County

A Rankin man was arrested in Benton County, Indiana Saturday while police were searching for a vehicle reported stolen out of Cissna Park on Friday.  It started when Benton County Sheriff’s police Dispatch got a call saying the vehicle was in Ambia next to the post office.  When deputies arrived they found the vehicle and spotted 42 year old Joseph M. Castaneda nearby.  Castaneda ran from officers and into a nearby home then out the back door where he ignored commands to stop and was tazed.  Costaneda is facing multiple charges.
