Regatta returns in 2024

The Kankakee River Valley Ragatta is set to return in 2024. A press release sent out Thursday night says the City of Kankakee, the Kankakee Valley Park District, the Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Kankakee County Chamber and the Kankakee Valley Boat Club have joined forces to have boat races return to the Kankakee River on Labor Day weekend 2024. The three-day event will run August 30th through September 1st 2024 and will mark the first time racers have been on the Kankakee River since 2013.
