Jasper County drug arrest

A traffic stop late last week netted Jasper County Indiana Sheriff’s Police a drug arrest. In a Facebook post, deputies say they pulled over a car Thursday afternoon for a license plate violation. A check found the drive, 45-year-old Steven E Hughes, to be wanted on an outstanding warrant. A search allegedly turned up various drugs and drug paraphernalia on the passenger, 38-year-old Ronald L. Magers of DeMotte. Both were taken to the Jasper County Jail.
