Funny Money Passed in Hoopeston

A Rantoul woman was arrested Tuesday in Hoopeston for passing a counterfeit bill.  Hoopeston police say the woman was in the drive-thru lanes of a McDonalds in the 800 block of South Dixie Hwy when she allegedly attempted to pay with the funny money.  Police were called, following a brief investigation 46 year old Hewerdine C. Kristen of Rantoul was taken into custody for possession and passing counterfeit Money.
