Kankakee man found guilty of murder

Kankakee County State’s Attorney Jim Rowe has announced 65-year-old Terry Brown of Kankakee was found guilty  of murder in the June 21st, 2022  stabbing death of 60-year-old Anthony Gray of Kankakee. The guilty verdict follows a multi-day bench trial in Kankakee County Court. Gray was stabbed multiple times during a fight at a home in the 300 block of North Wildwood Avenue and later died of his wounds. Rowe says Brown faces up to 60 years in prison when sentenced at a later date.
