Person shot in head in Kankakee

Kankakee City Police are investigating after a person was reportedly shot in the head early Sunday morning. According to reports, it was just after 4:30 yesterday morning when city police were called to the home in the 700 block of South Osborn Avenue. When they got there, they say they found the victim in the basement. They were taken to the hospital for treatment. We have no word on their condition.
