No injuries were reported after a pick-up truck plowed into a home on East Maple early Sunday morning. Kankakee Fire Department Officials say it was just before two yesterday morning when they were called to the home in the one-thousand block of East Maple and found the truck buried up to its rear axle in the house. City Police detained the driver and a passenger. The home was occupied when the accident occurred and there were no reported injuries, but the house has been deemed unsafe due to severe structural damage. It’s thought the crash caused some 25 to 30-thousand-dollars damage to the home.
