Will County inmate ID’d

We have an ID now on the Will County inmate that died while in custody late last week. Will County Coroner Laurie Summers identifies the man as 79-year-old Barry Whepley of Mounds View Minnesota. Whepley was reportedly found unresponsive in  his cell in Joliet last Friday. The cause of his death is under investigation.
