Kankakee Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group agents report a series of arrests as part of a series of compliance checks run in conjunction with the Illinois Department of Corrections. Reports say KAMEG agents along with the IDOC, Kankakee City Police, Bradley Police, the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Office, the Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force and the ATF checked multiple locations in Kankakee County and confiscated a firearm, some 350 grams of suspected cannabis, nearly seven grams of suspected meth and a gram of suspected heroin or fentanyl. As a result of the sweep, 38-year-old Andrew B Hancock of Kankakee was arrested for manufacturing or delivery of meth, possession of meth with intent to deliver and child endangerment. 33-year-old Holly A Jenkins of Kankakee was arrested for Manufacturing or delivery of meth and child endangerment. and 33-year-old Jose A Garduno of Momence was taken into custody for manufacturing or delivering cannabis. All three were taken to the Jerome Combs Detention Center.
