39 year old Cory Williams who was convicted of first degree in the 2020 death of 31 year old Antonio Allen, was sentenced today in Kankakee County Court to 75 years in prison. Williams already had an extensive criminal background when he shot Allen in the face at a Bradley home on South Douglas following a fight between the two. Kankakee County Coroner Jim Rowe says he hopes the long sentence helps ease the grief felt by the Allen family over the loss of a loved one.
Rowe says Williams won’t be eligible for parole until 2093 when he will be 109.
