Wilmington Suicide Update

We have more this afternoon on a man who took his own life yesterday morning in Wilmington in the 21,000 block of Cottage Road following a police chase.  The Will County Coroner’s office identifies the victim as 56 year old Jeffrey Emerson of Oswego.  Police were searching for Emerson after he allegedly shot his wife in Aurora.  Emerson died from a single gunshot wound to the chest.
