Fire damages Fairbury home

A family of four was displaced when fire destroyed their house in Fairbury Tuesday night. Reports say firefighters were called to the home in the 500 block of Margaret Drive by a passerby who spotted the fire just before eight last night. When they got there firefighters found fire in the home and brought the blaze under control by a little past eight. No one was home when the fire broke out and there were no reports of injuries. Three pets were lost in the fire, which is under investigation by the Pontiac Fire Department Investigations team.
