Harris Could Testify Against Sullivan

The woman charged along with Darius Sullivan in the shooting death of Bradley police Sgt. Marlene Ritmanic and the wounding of Sgt. Tyler Bailey in December of 2021, may end up testifying against Sullivan.  Kankakee County State’s Attorney Jim Rowe has told the court he will seek to compel Xandria Harris to testify against Sullivan by asking the judge to grant what’s called Use Immunity. According to the Daily Journal with Use Immunity Harris could testify against Sullivan, but nothing she says could be used against Harris in her own trial.  Harris could also jst refuse to testify at all.   A hearing on the matter will be held July 8th.
