The Kankakee County Coroner’s office reports a traffic crash Sunday night killed a 26-year-old Godley woman. In a facebook post, the coroner’s office says it was just after 10 last night when the car driven by 32-year-old David Gargo of Godley was southbound on Route 113. The car left the roadway and hit a utility pole which caused the car to roll onto its side. Gargo was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, but 26-year-old Ally Trvz of Godley, who was a back-seat passenger in the car reportedly died at the scene. A third person was taken to a Chicago hospital in critical condition. Gargo was arrested by the Illinois State Police, charged with Aggravated Driving under the influence resulting in death. Tvrz is the 21st person to die on a car crash in Kankakee County this fiscal year.
