Man Found Dead Sitting in Cedar Lake Pond

Cedar Lake Indiana police were called to West 134th Court on Sunday night for a report of a man sitting in a neighborhood pond.  Police say upon arrival officers found 66 year old Allen Griffith had died in the water. The death appears to be accidental, but the Lake County Coroner’s office provided no details.  The cause of death is still under investigation.
