Indiana State Police report an arrest following a shooting on I-65 near Rensselaer over the weekend. In a press release, Indiana State Troopers say it was just after 8 Friday night when they were called to the interstate near the Rensselaer exit after a man called dispatchers he’d been traveling southbound on I-65 when someone shot at him and he’d been wounded. State Police say they stopped a car a short time later in the interstate near Lafayette, detained the three people inside and found a handgun in the car as well. Saturday morning, Indiana State Police arrested 19-year-old Dwayne Lumont Johnson Junior of County Club HIlls for attempted murder among other charges.
