Red Flag Warning today

The National Weather Service has issued a “Red Flag Warning” that goes into effect for us at noon today and runs until nine tonight. The warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of  strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior. The weather service says you should consider postponing any outdoor burning and use extreme caution when disposing of smoking materials.  There are outright burn bans in place in many areas including across Iroquois County and counties in Northwest Indiana.
