Voluntary Evacuations Called in Jasper Co. for Fire

Jasper County Sheriff’s police Department is asking residents in the area of county roads 200 South and 1000 west to evacuate their homes as a precautionary measure because of what’s described as a large and spreading field fire in the Burr Oak area.  Multiple fire crews are on the scene this afternoon.
