Nugent Won’t Run for 6th Term

When municipal elections occur in April you will not find the name Tim Nugent on the Manteno Ballot.  Nugent, who has been mayor in Manteno for 20 years, has announced that he will not be running for reelection.  Nugent, who is ending his 5th term in office, is 72 years old and tells the Daily Journal that it’s been a good run, but it’s time for somebody else.
