Arrest Made in Shooting of Ludlow Man

An arrest has been made in connection with the shooting of a Ludlow man at a gas station in Rantoul on October 26^th.  Police report the 22 year old victim was shot twice, once in the back and once in the arm.  The shots came from a passing vehicle.  Police say they used a license plate reader camera to identify the suspect and traced him to a trailer park where he managed to escape on foot.  Further investigation then led police to an Urbana motel when 19 year old Daniel J Hodge Jr. was arrested for attempted murder.  Police say the two men do know each other.
