Accident Claims Bowell Man’s Life

The Benton County Sheriff’s office is investigating a fatal accident Wednesday night in the Boswell area at the intersection of Old Rt. 41 and U.S. 41.  Police say Orlen Cruz-Reyes of Boswell was stopped at a stop sign when he pulled into the path of a semi.  Cruze was pronounced dead at the scene while a 15 year passenger in his vehicle was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital for treatment. The truck driver was not hurt.
