IDOT Meeting Set Next Week in Peotone

The Illinois Department of Transportation later this month will be holding an open house meeting on a preliminary engineering and environmental study for improved access to Interstate 57 from south of Wilmington-Peotone Road to north of Manhattan-Monee Road.  The purpose of the meeting is to provide an overview of the study process, share information on public involvement opportunities and obtain public input on transportation needs and issues in the area. Idot officials will be on hand to discuss the study and answer questions. It’ll be held from 3-6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13 at the Will County Fairgrounds Atrium.
