Cedar Lake Man Dies in Tree Stand Accident

The Indiana Conservation Department is investigating the death of a Cedar Lake man who fell from a tree stand while hunting over the weekend in Knox, Indiana.  Dead is 53 year old Larry Sedwick of Cedar Lake.   Officials say Sedwick was wearing a safety harness while deer hunting, but they are not sure if it was secured properly or just failed.  Sedwick was pronounced dead at the scene.
