Bradley Man on Parole for Murder of Stepmother, Arrested for Domestic Battery

A man convicted of murdering and dismembering the body of his stepmother back in the 1990’s has been arrested for domestic battery while on parole.  63 year old Jeffrey Knight of Bradley was arrested Wednesday night by Bradley police at the home he shared with his live-in girlfriend in the 300 block of South Schuyler Ave.  She alleges he hit her in the face with an object in the home.  Knight was originally sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his step mother, but that was later reduced to 30 years.  He was released on parole last January.
