Channahon Fire Department Warns of Scam

The Channahon Fire Protection District is warning of a scam makng the rounds in the area.  The call does display the correct phone number, but that’s where reality ends.  The voice on the other end explains that you have an outstanding bill for ambulance service and then asks or your credit card or personal banking account information. Channahon Fire saying they never ask for payment for anything over the phone and if you receive one of the calls, just hang up.
