The Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police report a pair of arrests. On Thursday, deputies say they arrested 38-year-old Olan Morris of Piper City on an outstanding warrant that alleges residential arson. Morris was being held in the Ford County Jail and was transported to the Iroquois County Jail.
Then Friday, Iroquois County Sheriffs’ police say they were called to a home in rural Danforth where 68-year-old Lawrence Lalumendier had been allegedly making threats. Reports say a search of the house turned up a gun. Lalumendier was arrested by deputies for unlawful use of a weapon and aggravated assault among other charges.
