Subject Jumped off the Larry Power Road Bridge Friday

Illinois State police report a subject experiencing what they called a mental health crisis jumped off the Larry Power Road Bridge onto I-57 Friday.  It happened about 11:45 Friday morning. The victim was taken to a local hospital and then transferred to a Chicago area hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The northbound lanes of the expressway were closed for about 15 minutes because of the incident.
