Gas Prices Tuesday

Gas prices across Illinois took a jump overnight as the Thanksgiving travel season hits full stride. Triple-A says the average cost for a gallon of regular no-lead gas is now three-dollars-23 cents across the Land of Lincoln. That’s a six cent jump overnight. Gas in the Kankakee area went up nine cents overnight to three-dollars-three cents a gallon. Triple-A says gas in Iroquois County is running 3.04 a gallon. It’s 3.14 a gallon in Ford County and 3.09 in Grundy County.

Across the state line, Triple-A says a gallon of gas will set you back two-dollars-96 cents in Newton County, it’s 3.10 in Benton County and 3.12 in Jasper County. Triple-A says gas is running 3.02 a gallon on average across the Hoosier State, a 12 cent jump overnight.
