Wilmington Fire Damages Several Buildings

It took six hours for firefighters in Wilmington to extinguish a blaze at a group of outbuildings in the 22,000 block of Stripmine Road Sunday afternoon about 3. Wilmington fire said when firefighters arrived on the scene they found heavy smoke coming from a majority of the buildings.  Battling the wind and cold, firefighters from multiple departments were able to keep the flames away from two of the buildings.  No injuries were reported.  The cause is still under investigation.
