During Wednesday morning’s meeting of the Kankakee County Board’s Criminal Justice Committee, County Coroner Bob Gessner told the committee the number of overdose deaths in the County is down this year
Gessner gave the committee the statistical rundown of those overdose victims
Gessner said Fentanyl was involved in 80 percent of county-wide overdose deaths. Other drugs involved included cocaine, meth and xylazine.
