Madigan Trial Continues

Prosecutors appear close to resting their case in Michael Madigan’s racketeering trial.  Prosecutors had predicted that they would likely wrap up their case yesterday, but the judge sent jurors home early after former State Representative Eddie Acevedo took the stand.  Once the state rests, defense attorneys will get a chance to call their own witnesses.  The jury has already heard from around 50 witnesses over the last nine weeks.
