Paxton Police Sex Sting Nets an Arrest

A Saint Joseph man is facing sexual exploitation charges after reportedly arranging to meet a teenager in Paxton.  Paxton Police arrested 35-year-old Tyler McElwee after a traffic stop near Clara Peterson Elementary School on Sunday. Late last month, McElwee reportedly began communicating with an undercover Paxton Police officer who was posing to be a teen. After making plans to meet the teen, McElwee’s been charged with solicitation and exploitation of a child.
