Bradley Man Arrested on Drug and Theft Charges

Bradley police arrested a Kankakee man over the weekend that they have been looking for since December 13th when he managed to escape a police chase for retail theft by abandoning his vehicle in an alley and fleeing on foot.  In the vehicle police discovered over 500 grams of packaged marijuana.  According to Bradley police, an officer spotted 31 year old Dashawnta Springer at an area shopping center and arrested Springer without incident.  He’s facing multiple charges including retail theft, obstruction, driving on a suspended license and manufacture and delivery of marijuana. Springer was already on parole at the time of his arrest.
