One Killed, Minor Hurt in Head-on Semi Crash Near Grant Park

The Kankakee County Coroner’s office reports one person has died in an accident this morning near Grant Park.  Kankakee County Sheriff’s deputies put the location at Route 17 and North Bull Creek Road just east of Grant Park.  It happened just after 7 this morning.  Illinois State police report two semi’s crashed head-on.  One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene.  One person, a minor, was taken to the hospital. We do not know their condition.
